Happy Birthday Continued

We took the kids to the zoo for Eva's birthday again this year since they enjoyed it so much last year. I was a little apprehensive about going since it started to rain on the way there, but it turned out great. The little bit of rain that fell cleared everyone else out of the park so there were no lines. I think we saw like 10 other people the whole time we were there. Because it was a little cooler a lot of the animals were inside so we got to see the orangutans, gorillas and giraffes up close. Eva was terrified of the orangutans and gorillas but loved the giraffes and asked Danny if she could have one at home. We were planning on spending a couple of hours at the zoo but because there were no lines for anything we got done in much less time. Because we had extra time we decided to take the kids somewhere fun for dinner and were thinking of The Mayan, but Wyatt nixed that idea by telling us he just wanted to go somewhere with happy meals and play land. What can I say, my kids have expensive taste. :)
